Healing

What is Spiritual Healing?

Spiritual healing is a transference of healing energy from the guides in the spirit world via a healing medium to a patient who is in need of healing.

Does healing hurt?

Not in the slightest.  When receiving healing you may feel a sensation of heat, coolness or tingling.  You should feel nice and relaxed and, more than likely, slightly drunk after receiving healing.  It is possible that your physical symptoms may become a little worse before coming better but this is usually short lived.  Most patients report sleeping very well after having healing.

Is Spiritual Healing the same thing as Faith Healing?

No, not at all.  Faith healing requires that the person receiving the healing has faith in God or Jesus.  In the case of spiritual healing it is the healing medium who has the faith that what they are doing will be beneficial for the patient.

What is absent / distant healing?

Absent / distant healing are positive thoughts sent out by anybody who wishes a person to be made better or given support in a time of need.  Thoughts are living things, living energies, and as such are transmitted to the person who is in need of them simply by saying a prayer.

Surely the results of Spiritual Healing are psychosomatic?

It could be argued that to some extent it is as, if you believe in something strongly enough it will work for you.  Where this argument falls down is when very tiny babies, young children and animals, as well as people who have had absent / distant healing requested for them do not know it and therefore do not understand / acknowledge that the healing has been given still show signs of improvement.

Should you stop having conventional treatment if you are receiving spiritual healing?

No, spiritual healing is a complimentary (and holistic) therapy and therefore works alongside the treatments being prescribed by your doctor.  You must never stop taking prescribed medication without consulting your doctor first.

Do spiritual healers have to be qualified?

Yes.  If you know a healer is qualified then you can rest assured that they are working to a Code of Conduct, are covered by insurance and trained to the standard required.

How much does it cost?

Cost varies for healing.  Most healer do not take any fees or ask that a donation be given to the church they are working for or a favourite charity.  Some people do healing as a business and fees would need to be checked out with them before receiving healing.  Some people charge up to £50, others request donations. The church has a donation box for anyone wanting to donate after recieving Healing.
