We live in a society where results are expected instantly. There’s instant coffee, instant noodles, instant messages, but believe me… there is no such thing as an instant medium. It can take mediums many, many years of training before they are ready to work publically. If you take up training at our Church you can expect to spend a minimum of two years training at least before you will be working publicly. This is not because we want to be cruel or take up all your time, but we believe it is important to have a firm base of knowledge before taking on what essentially a very trusted position in people’s lives. Too many mediums are working publically without the right training and it is dangerous, not just to them but to the people they work with. They could find themselves very out of their depth and unable to cope with certain situations. With a solid foundation set up before you work publically, you will not only be ready to work, but a lot more confident in the work that you do.
